The Amazing Change
Yesterday, I went to attend a gathering party of former junior high, Grade Two’s classmates. They are not like those classmates from senior high school; most of us have already lost touch with each other for more than four years. We are really so-called spreading to every corner of the country, so I was so excited at the moment I received the call from our monitor.
Everybody had changed too much; I could not really recognize all of them. Those young boys and girls have already turned into men and women, they were no longer like teenagers who cared about studies most and many other small things. Most of us are in universities now, studying various kinds of majors, but there are still some who have already left school when others graduated from the high school.
One of them is a girl who seated behind my best friend five years ago. At that time, we knew that her family was poor, so we all supported her by words or by some financial things. Now, she carried a young baby with her to the party, which made most of us amazed. We had already come to the thought that she might drop school early, but we had never known that she would marry at such an early age.
Wearing splendid jewelry and fashionable clothes, she gave us a picture of a total housewife and also, it suggested that she lived a happy life now. Seeing the radiant necklace from the famous jewelry shop-Tiffany, I felt that she was the person who had been completely changed by the society over these years. In former times, she was a student who worked hard everyday and hated those people who looked on luxury as something that could be shown to others. But now, she herself has become one of them.
When I returned home yesterday, I told this to my mother, who said that different people had their own different way of living the life. Maybe it is just the unique fate of people, and I really wonder what my fate may be in the future.
Money Is No Big Deal
I graduated from college two years ago, and now am working as a high school teacher. I worked very hard on weekday, and when weekends come, I will gasp the chance to go shopping.
A few months ago, I went to my favorite shopping center to look at purses, but unfortunately, none of them interested me. Since it was still early, I went to the jewelries at will. There were so many splendid jewelries shining through the counters, and most of them were the world leading brands. Considering that I did not have enough money, I was about to go outside when a silver necklace caught my attention. The unique designing, the shining pendant and the luxurious style totally swept me off my feet. That was just a miniature work of art. My impulse was to get out of there, but first I stalled at the front desk with questions about the payment. It would take me half a year’s salary. The price made me take a short, quick breath. I smiled reluctantly and went outside, feeling so awkward and embarrassed.
I walked and my stomach in knots. “Just get in your car and drive away”, I coached myself. I went to my car, started it, and backed out. ‘‘But I really liked it, it was amazing! If I missed it, I would feel totally disappointed’’. Another voice shouted loudly in my head. I called my best friend Julie, who would always calm me down when I could not make up my mind. She was not at home. “No one’s going to make this easier for you”, I said to myself. “That Tiffany necklace is really magnificent, and I can earn money back if I work harder in the next few months. Julie will surely back me up”. I persuaded myself, “Money is no big deal”. I took several deep breaths. Then I went and got my necklace.
I can’t remember how many admirations and praises my friends and colleagues have given me since I bought that necklace, and I have ready gained the money back. We should not let the chances slip from us when we really want something, because money is indeed no big deal.
Smart Choice for Christmas
December 11th. It's getting dark, the second Friday of this winter, no rain and no wind, what would I do tomorrow. I always remind me give my boy clothes for gift. It has been a long time since I have no idea about which to buy. I look all through the hall, most of the brands show much old-fashioned in appearance, few of them seem nice, but the color look like a gorgeous flower. He would not like these, no result.

December 18th. I found a secret. When Brooks looked at the magazine on the sofa, he always gazed at one page for some seconds. It seems as if he likes something. Later, I find it is a fashion magazine. The page he gazed tell about is a brand of ED hardy. What kind of brand is it? When I look all through the magazine, I have already made my decision…

Lindsay Lohan May Have Found Another Design Gig
Having recently parted ways with the house of Emanuel Ungaro, Lindsay Lohan has more time on her hands to devote to another project. And according to rumors, she wants to stay in design, but perhaps a very different market. A source tells E! she's in talks to design handbags for Ed Hardy, a label whose customers are far more likely to grasp the appeal of glitter nipple pasties than Ungaro. Apparently Lohan shares "mutual friends" with the Ed Hardy design team, who knew she wanted to do a handbag line.
"As of last week, there are three collections in development and numerous more are expected," our source says. "Lindsay is very directly involved with the project, and she's always pulling things online and from magazines for ideas."
So if anyone was hoping Lohan would exit fashion altogether and try to do more acting, the Ed Hardy people are the facilitators, possibly the pushers. No matter how much they may deserve each other, one must wonder if this is healthy for either of them. Maybe Lindsay should return to music.
High-heeled Shoes or Ugg?
Almost every woman and girl likes high-heeled shoes, especially for short. They feel good in high-heeled shoes and hope they are beautiful and graceful in the eyes of other people.

So should women place high-heeled on the top shelf? There is no need for such caution. I think high-heeled shoes are still suitable to some particular occasions such as social and courtesy event. The heels below 3 cm are appropriate. Beautiful is much, but health is more important.
Go on or Quit?
I once took a course about management and I noticed there was a girl who always took the seat beside me at the back of the classroom. Out of curiosity, I chatted with her.
“Why you always sit besides me, have we met?”
“No, we have never met before. But why are you sitting here? You seem to like this course a lot.”

The Definition of Beauty
If you are wearing a pair of big glasses, and old-fashioned clothes, what is worse, you are heavy and big. Is there any possibility for you to have something to do with beauty?
I know this girl from a famous TV series, Ugly Betty. The heroine is Betty, who is the assistant of the handsome boss, Daniel. Betty is so unknown to the public, especially in the fashionable area. And she is an alien to many her colleagues who always talk about the most fashionable things like Tiffany diamonds. We label her as an ugly girl. Her most outstanding value is that she can’t provoke any lust of man, so that she defeats other girls and gets her job.
The traditional definition of beauty must be related to the pleasant figure and appearance. Surely, red cheeks, charming eyes, and sweet smile are beautiful,; however, I think they can’t be the only definition of beauty.
The beauty of appearance is superficial. Starting to know a person is always from the appearance, but falling love with a person is always because his or her personality. We hardly fall in love with Betty at first sight. But if we know her deeper, we would find her is so lovely. She is smart and sensible, sometimes stubborn, but persistent at the some time. She males some mistakes sometimes. But most of the time she gives a lot to help to her boss.
The girls who are like Betty may be not easily adored by others; however, the sincerity can win the hearts of their friends’ at last. In my opinion, the definition of beauty contains two levels, the superficial one and the deeper one. The beauty of appearance will vanish with the elapsing time, and what leaves behind is the beauty of wisdom.
In a word, we can’t judge a person only by the appearance, but consider his inner side. Girls, if you are not as beautiful as the cover girl, please don’t be regret, you are a beauty if you can use your wisdom to stand on the earth confidently.

As we all know, gift is one of the most important things in our daily life, without it, we can't do lots of things, so it plays an important role in our life. Annoying Woman in Neighborhood
Annie lives in the small town with intimate relationships. The good side of the intimate relationship is you can get the help from your neighbors. But every coin has two sides. The other side of the intimacy is gossips between housewives are annoying.
Annie has the strange habit of doing hair in the corridor. She hates the moisture smell in the bath room. She thinks the hair will be better looking with doing it in a good mood leisurely. Smell the fragrant of the flowers in the yard makes her happy.
When she is doing her hair with the hair straightener like every day, Becky, the gossipy woman comes to her directly.
Becky says, "Hi, Annie, you are doing your hair again. Why bother so much to do it every day?"
Annie thinks there is no question can be more stupid than this one. She doesn't give specific answer, but smile to Becky. Then she heard the surprising shout, "Oh, my God! You are using the new GHD IV styler! I was told that it had been sold out. I want to have one so much."

"I don't like to inquire into other's life. So I have no idea about it at all." Annie leaves no chance for Becky to carry on.
"Well, it's nice to talk to you Annie." Becky can't satisfy herself with gossip to Annie. She goes away. Annie has a long big sign after she left. The fragrant of flower is not as good as the beginning.
