No Tiffany, No Marriage

When I was a little child, I read fairytales in which prince and princess live happily together and I became familiar with the world “love”, though I didn’t really understand it. Later when I was a teenager, I watched romantic movies and read love stories, which made me think that love is the most powerful thing in the world and nothing is able to separate a couple when they love each other. While after I graduated from college and went through several love affairs myself, I realized that everything is practical, including love. The world is material and we should be able to deal with material problems first so that we can pursue spiritual enjoyment later.

image I’m an ordinary woman. I love beautiful dresses which can make me more beautiful and attract other people’s attention; I love cosmetics produced by famous companies, though expensive but good in quality; I also love those shining jewelries, especially the jewelries of Tiffany, which symbolize the fashion, wealth and perfect love and are the dreams of almost everyone.

I have experienced love failure because we were unable to deal with the problems occurring in the real world. At first, we loved each other very much and made up our minds to work hard so that we could live a happy life together. But later the more problems of the daily life occurred, the more frequently we argued, which made both of us very tired. We finally broke up for we realized that love only is not able to support our lives.

Since then, I’ve made up my mind that I will marry a man who proposes to me with a ring of Tiffany. As far as I am concerned, a Tiffany ring is not only an ornament which is fashionable and unique, but it also shows a man’s ability and sincerity, for if he is able to afford Tiffany, it means that his salary isn’t low in some degree. And on the other hand, Tiffany is the symbol of perfect love and marriage and wearing a Tiffany ring on your ring finger ensures happiness.

Everyone wants a happy marriage and life, so do I. And if there is no Tiffany, I prefer to stay single rather than marry somebody who can’t ensure me a peaceful and happy life.
